I have seen so many of articles about cold calling is no more, or cold calling is 90% inefficient. I am not controling total, but I. Have share my knowledge regarding cold calling. I want to help them about cold calling. (What is the importance and what do they do)

You have a random calls, this is so and so from xyz company... This formal conversation not working today, now a days, you should learn skills, prospect, that is very smart, you need to be learn new tractive and new skills.
Cold calling is really really important and if you not good at cold calling, assure that you're not good at sales profession. Some of my friends in sales field from 10 to 15 year, still they are not take cold not good. You know the reason?? They are scared and they don't have skills. If you don't have skills, definitely scary be more and more.
So that, you need to know step by step guide for great conversation for a good cold call.
1. The Objective:
The Objective of the cold calling is not to sell anything, remember friend 90% of time you will be never give you on first call, keep it mind. Do that, objective is to getting meeting the prospective. Time it should be the objective, rather than how great you are, wonderful you are company does, and xyz... It doesn't matter to customer. He wants, what is in it him, why calling him. It is a meeting ok.
2. Background of the customer:
You need to understand what make sense to the customer importance for him. For example, if you calling for a sales person or marketing guy, trying to sell some of service which helps to him. To take some important decision for you to know where that is important. i.e., what is area of expertise? He is in marketing field, is it chemical!, What kind of chemical and then you need to hold on to to that. You need to articulate that, you need to cold call to him. It is always to him not about you. First understand what they role in important for him. Which you understand what is important he wish to build a script according.
3. Attitude:
Before coming to the script, you need attitude. 90% of people I have seen, they make cold call, they sake of making cold call. You need to do what a such attitude ok. Lesson to motivational video, lesson to key not speaches. You start a day, you have to follow some people at social media, that is motivating you people great. Positive attitude is most important factor. Do you know one thing, 88% of the cold call is your tone, 12% is the content only. You need to be a really enjoyed your content, you have to killer confident. You need to have a energy, enthusiasm and believe that the product or service. That's a selling would be impact back to you.
4. Script:
You need to have all the script, you need to go through the script, customised depending on the customer. If you calling IT, it's a different script, if you calling scientific that's also different script, if you talk to business people, you have to talk business language, don't have to talk about products. You need to understand what he needs, read tha annual reports, in connection with him, based on what important to him. For example, you work with your competitors, they are actually making more money or million, what ever, you need to come up your story. That is what I am talking about skills, attitude, and have perfect script.
Tips for script:
1. Your introduction should not be more than one line.
2. You need to claim your big pitch, it will catch the attention.
3. If you talk relevent, he interested you more.
4. You should talk purpose of calling.
Schedule to meet him quickly and demonstrate, what you can do for him, explore your energy. You have to do plenty of work like this, you make consolidated environment, it is good time for conversation.
